Over the past 29 years, we have promised to love, care for, and serve thousands of families with minor children who are on the verge of homelessness or experiencing homelessness. We have kept that promise by becoming more than just a place to find shelter and safety. From January 1st, 2025, to December 31, 2025, FPLV served 206 families (643 individuals) and well over 17,000 nights of shelter for families going through an emergency. Additionally, we served 105 families (323 individuals) with Prevention and Stabilization Services for those who were about to be evicted. Our employment services team helped 94 individuals find jobs. As a result of comprehensive case management, resource navigation, family-centered support, and 13,657 individualized services, 89% of families transitioned into stable, independent housing.
When you give to Family Promise of Las Vegas, your support goes directly to the families who need it most. Based on our audits, 91 cents of every dollar you donate provides direct services to homeless families with children—only 9 cents goes toward administrative costs.
We offer much more than shelter. Families in our program receive short-term transitional housing, case management, and essential needs, along with education and advocacy that address the root causes of their homelessness. Through partnerships with local congregations, businesses, and community organizations, we maximize resources to create lasting change.
Every family we serve—67% of whom are children—receives a personalized, trauma-informed plan with goals tailored to their needs. This approach breaks the cycle of homelessness and helps families rebuild their futures with dignity.
Family Promise of Las Vegas is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, funded through a combination of grants, foundation support, individual gifts, in-kind donations, and volunteer labor. We are fully audited, in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State, and guided by an active, engaged Board of Directors.
