Big Announcement: Family Promise to Celebrate 30 Years with a Family Festival

For nearly 30 years Family Promise of Las Vegas (FPLV) has walked alongside thousands of families as they worked toward sustainable housing and independence. In case you didn’t know, FPLV does this by combining shelter, workforce development, stabilization services, and individualized case management into one coordinated model designed to help families move from crisis toward long-term independence.

As our team began discussing how to celebrate this milestone, one thing became clear: we didn’t want a traditional gala or black tie fundraiser. We wanted to create a unique event for the families we have served over the past three decades while also reconnecting with the many supporters, volunteers, churches, businesses, and community partners who have made this work possible. We wanted to create a fun experience that brings together families, donors, churches, businesses, volunteers, and neighbors.

The 30 Year Anniversary Family Fun Festival will be a joyful, family-centered event designed to bring our community together for an evening of fun, connection, and celebration. The festival will feature food trucks, carnival games, bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, crafts, educational and development resources for families, and activities for all ages across the Community Lutheran Church campus. Inside, guests will enjoy a family-friendly variety show featuring magicians, entertainers, and other special performances.

The event will take place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Community Lutheran Church, on the eve of the official 30th anniversary of Family Promise of Las Vegas on October 1, 2026.

We anticipate welcoming more than 1,000 attendees and are currently seeking sponsors, entertainers, volunteer teams, in-kind partners, and individual volunteers who would like to help make this milestone celebration possible.
